I am studying the autographs from these sets as I work towards my long term goal of assembling complete sets. I understand that fakes of these sets are known to exist where the someone takes a normal base card, chemically removes the number and embosses it with a fake stamp.

I would love to own a known fake example to use as a comparison piece. This would be helpful because I could study how the card looks...both the counterfeit embossing as well as the effect on the sheen of the card that removing the number on the back has to I can protect myself from buying fakes in the future.If anyone has a known fake I'd love to pick one up.

I'm mostly looking for a 1991-92 example as the number would have to be removed...but a 1993 would also be good.
