Question How would you describe this damage?

How would you describe this damage? Is there a specific name for the type of damage at the middle bottom of the card? Also if you were to get this card graded what PSA grade would it get for those that grade? Thanks for your help

I usually call it edge wear / peeling.

I don't grade, so I have no idea on how much that will affect a grade.
I collect all WVU Alumni: NFL - Amos Zereoue, Steve Slaton, Pat White, Rasul Douglas, Avon Cobourne, Garrett Greene, Owen Schmitt, Will Grier, Gary Jennings, David Sills, Pat McAfee, Tavon Austin, Geno Smith, Charles Sims, Wendell Smallwood, Sam Huff, Chuck Howley, etc. NBA - Jerry West, Jevon Carter, Miles McBride, Javon Small, etc. MLB - Jedd Gyorko, Victor Scott II, JJ Wetherholt, etc.

Yeah peeling would probably be the best description. I'm not an expert grader, but I'm guessing between a 4 and a 6 for a grade. I could be way off though.

I woiuld probably say I agree with Akaus21 perhaps on the lower scale depending not the other 4 criteria's of the card.

Here is a example I found that they told me with that defect he would get an 8. A very minor edge peeling, dent, whatever you want to call it.

I was curious after seeing this and wondered over to eBay and looked up this set... it seems that most of the football cards from this Longevity set have the same flaw in the same spot as yours. I doubt this info serves as any determinant to you in grading, just an observation... cool card regardless!
