Paul Skenes 2024 Topps MLB Debut Patch Autograph Rookie Card sells for $1.11 Million

The Pittsburgh Pirates wanted it, offering a package headlined by seasons tickets for 30 years. Others put bounties on it. Collectors went searching en masse, compare it to Willy Wonka’s Golden Tickets if you must.
The Pirates’ offer wasn’t good enough. Not long after being pulled, it was put up for auction and the 2024 Topps Chrome Update MLB Debut Patch Autograph Paul Skenes sold for $1.11 million. The price include the buyer’s premium.
The sale came through Fanatics Collect’s March Premier Auction, ending late in the evening on March 20.
The one-of-a-kind card includes a full patch worn by Skenes the first time he took to the field as a member of the Pirates.
