    Long time first time (in a while)

    Hello all,

    After about 15 years away from the hobby and SCF (my last posts were from 2011) I am looking to back in to the hobby. I have noticed that alot has changed since I was last on SCF, so I will be trying to learn as much as I can about navigating the site, trading, which card companies are currently availble, buying selling on ebay, etc...

    After looking at the high prices of hobby boxes, retail, singles, etc... my objective as I get back in to the hobby is to consolidate my collection. I have ALOT of "low value" hockey and basketball memorabilia, autos, #d and rookie cards from when I collected (mostly between 2001-2003 and 2008-2011) and I am looking to trade those for some memorabilia, autos, #d and rookie cards Leafs or Sens in hockey, Raptors in basketball and Benfica or Portugal in soccer. I'm sure there is a Nuggets fan who would love to get a McDyess card for their Rafael Araujo auto... unless they're a huge Araujo fan... lol

    So I am looking to have some fun, some interesting conversations and make some trades.
    (If I remember correctly, I believe there used to be a "points system" where users would collect "points" for successful trades... am I correct? if so that still the case?)

    Been quite a while since i was on the site. What's a reputable company to have cards graded? I have baseball cards from the late 50's tp Late 60's that i collected as a child.
