Had some earlier 2000's baseball packs dumped on me by a co-worker (check out the scans).
I do not even remember some of these packs. Apparently, one of his family was a hoarder and he has these packs stored away along with a lot of other toys and such. Here is a quick scan. If there is anything that strikes your fancy drop me a message. Mainly, just sharing as I not had time to go thru them and do any research as to the possible sale prices yet. Always fun to find a lot of stuff for a blast from the past. I do know some of these packs contain Pujols, Ichirio, rookies but not so sure of the basketball. Some of the packs I only have a few while others have larger quantities. Any questions feel free to ask but did a quick scan to show the various products as I not had time to put up a more detailed post. Just figured it good for the folks who read and view new posts across the forums.

I have to do some more research on the variances between retail and hobby from 20 plus years.

There shouldn't be too big of a difference between hobby and retail with those packs. Those 2001 and 2002 Topps weren't that different compared to something like Fleer but even that was more something later had a problem with like 2003-2005. Plus the rookies are the key hits in most of these. Pujols and Ichiro for 2001 and Joe Mauer for 2002. The 2001 Achives has some big time autograph Hall of Famers in it so those probably have the biggest non rookie hit potential. The 2002 Topps Total is probably the weakest but it was 99 cent product and 2002 is the best year with Joe Mauer and David Wright rookies I guess.
If you open them it should be fun with a bunch of great pull pontentials but if you decided to sell them sealed you will get a boatload of money for them. Basketball packs from this era go for stupid money and those 2001 baseball products are hard to find and super expensive. The 2001 Topps Chrome will go for crazy money and the 2002 Topps Chrome whichever series has Joe Mauer will be a nice seller too. So either way you should do very well. Congrats on the find.Selling all my cards here updated as of May------------> Hidden Content

Thanks for the comments. I will be selling them for a buddy of mine as one of his relatives left them along with a ton of lot of stuff talking toys and such which brought back a lot of memories when he bring the items into work or shares the pictures.
Help me sell these and there will be more incoming as he has more at the house. I think later it will be mostly sealed product though. LOL

@doniceage I am sure you know, but the basketball packs and years are very close to the Lebron rookie year. Look out for those as single packs of those fetch a premium
