Frankly, I don't see how we can avoid a new strike here... Well in fact this is gonna be the very first strike resuming... So we'll go from trading cards occasionally to not at all.. Hey what am I saying here? Lol. That's already what I'm doing, not trading at all. Not that I don't want to, but as we say, it takes two to tango...
Anyways, you should all hurry to finish up your trades now, asap. 'Cause in two weeks, you may have to wait what, who knows how long, maybe six months before you can resume your trading activities. I don't think CP will be rushed back to work this time. Therefore, the wait could be very looonng this time, longer anyway, starting May 22nd (and forward). What happened before Xmas might be a walk in the park compared to what's ahead of us... No joking!

There will be a report from a commission on May 15th about the mission of CP and their future. I think that there is hope.

I hope people on here are aware that if indeed a strike occurs with Canada Post, it's gonna start on May 22nd... Meaning that if you mail some cards on, let's say May 20th, it's unlikely that they're gonna arrive before the strike starts... It's not like, you ship before it begins and you're ok. As soon as it starts, it's over! I mean, your cards will remain on the shelves or whatever they use to store the mail, in a warehouse, and that, as long as the strike will last !
So my advice to all here is, pls don't wait at the last minute to send your stuff. I mean, it's already late/limit as I'm writing these lines, to mail some cards imo. I'm saying all this right now 'cause I find the forum very quiet lately; that and the fact that the trades seem to be in slow-mo the last few days...
Is it because some members fear the strike and decided to wait and see what happens with CP ?! Or everyone is just waiting "too long", i.e. 'til the last second prior to mailing. If so, I think you may have a real bad surprise in a few days from now... unfortunately. Think of it !!!

I have 5000 listings on eBay. I am currently ending ALL of my low-end because economy shipping is out the window. I am also trying new Shipping Policies with UPS and FedEx as the carrier for my mid to high-end. It only makes sense to ship higher-end stuff with carrier like UPS and FedEx.

Ordered something today, so we'll see how this goes haha.
Hoping it isn't a long strike, but I won't give my hopes up. Seems like this was inevitable even after the back to work order late last year.Jhonas Enroth Card Collector & Host of the Hidden Content

It's more likely to happen than not.. I'm just wondering if there's a chance that it's gonna be a rotating strike this time?! Anyone knows that?
