EBay shipping problems
So I bought a couple Tayshaun Prince singles from a guy on eBay, paid $3.00 for shipping. No big deal, that's about normal for eBay shipping. I got the cards in the mail today, and not only were they in a plain white envelope with no padding, but the envelope was torn. At least the cards were in a toploader and there was no damage. Nonetheless, I sent the following e-mail to the guy to inform him of my displeasure:
I received my two Tayshaun Prince cards today, and I am disappointed with the quality of shipping. They were sent in a plain white envelope with no padding, and the envelope was damaged during shipping. Luckily, the cards were not damaged. Nonetheless, this is not the quality of shipping I would charge $3 for. This is not an incident I would leave a negative for, but I would consider changing your shipping habits if you want to avoid complaints from future customers.
I'm planning on leaving him either a positive (with a note about the shipping), or a neutral, depending upon his reply. BTW, his eBay ID is delliman7; I wouldn't recommend him if you're concerned about your cards arriving safely. I'll let you all know what he says.

^^^^thats what i would say ^^^^^
however if you leave him a neutral or negative depending on what kind of guy he is he could flip on you and things could get real nasty.Sometimes in these cases ill leave a positive if i don't wanna deal with it only because your cards are in good condition as well.If they werent thats a whole different story.

Read the post I left last week, same thing happened to me. When I sent him a message, he basically called me scum and shady for leaving HIM a neutral feedback, when he was lucky for not getting a negative. I paid the same day as the auction ended, therefore my responsibility to the auction is basically over, but I got a crappy response from him threatening a negative....... sometimes it almost does not seem worth it to buy/sell anymore because you need to bend over backwards for this bs.

leave a positive and leave in all caps about the shipping to let other people aware of how he ships his cards. if i seen that i would stay away from him.

I think that's what a neutral rating is for. Ebay is pretty strict about sellers gouging buyers on shipping so if he keeps that up, he could get himself in trouble. For 1-2 cards, I never charge more than $2 b/c it never costs more than that. $.63 shipping + .69 for the padded envelope. The rest is for the time and effort.

who cares if they overcharge shipping?! the buyer should just add the shipping into their total bid.
