Wade Boggs - Best Method to Send Cards
Hi All - I've sent to Wade Boggs in the past and used photo corners and bi-fold cardboard method (non-machinable postage). Card came back and the signature was abraded from the cardboard rubbing during transit (this wasn't from the signature not being dry when he closed the cardboard - it was definitely just friction). This has happened on a few other cards I've sent using that method. Has anyone sent to him specifically with a penny sleeve and/or card saver? Have you had good results with that? Any other methods? There is always a balance between making things easy for the player and trying the preserve the card. I'm just a collector, so ultimately, it's not a big deal, but if I can keep my cards in good shape through the process, I'd definitely prefer that.

I have only had about 200 successes doing TTM.
Only ONE returned with any codition issue ; a slight crease.
I know there are several ways to send but here's how I'VE always done it....
Fee, if required + card (no sleeve or top loader) put inside SASE then inside letter and mail. I don't even use index cards. That's just me! Everything I get back is in perfect shape. Knock on wood.
Good luck with whatever you do.
