Spot to find how much $$ to send with request?
I apologize if this is a basic question, but I just joined and to be truthful, there is a lot of good information on this page, but hard to find the right place to ask questions. LOL
I’d like to start getting autographs of some hockey cards but I don’t know how much money to send with the request I’ve seen on the FB page of $5-$50 sent but how does one know?
My real bucket list item is to have Glenn Hall sign a Blackhawks jersey that has 76 players on it. I could retire the jersey if I can get him on it. I’m afraid to death to send it in the mail, but I found his address and my send just a letter asking? That could be wishful thinking, I know.
Thanks, Everyone! Looking forward to beefing up my memorabilia.

@Rholnster If you go to the TTM Manager and search for the person you are looking for, it will show you a lot of information. It will also show you in the comments any notes that were added.
As far as Glenn Hall, it appears that he stopped signing in last 2023. There are no reported successes on here since July 2023 and no successes on SCN since August 2023.
I personally would never send something like that in the mail unless it was insured and sent to a private signing.

@Rholnster
I would find the address that most have had success with and perhaps send a letter with a long story and perhaps you will get a response. Just remember he is 93 so he might not be able to do autographs anymore. Never hurts to try but like mentioned above I would not send something like that in the mail. Best of luck.

@Rholnster I have never tried this, but I have heard of people sending a pre-TTM request. You could also send an image of the item with your letter of request, asking if you could sign the jersey. Also, ask how much donation would be required to sign it and where to send it.
That is probably your best shot at this point.

Agreed. That’s what I was starting to contemplate. It may be my best chance. He may just be done but I have to try now that there is an address to at least send a letter.

Awesome jersey for sure! I personally wouldn't risk all the time, work & devotion you've put into a 'one of a kind' piece like that.
Some of the other suggestions may work but unless it was a 1000% sure thing, I'd call it good. Good luck with whatever you decide to do and again, Sweet jersey!!
