Time for my first round predictions. My picks are bold
AFC:
KC @ Colts = Peyton has a monster game so the defense doesn't matter
NY @ NE = Pennington and running by committee will win the game
NFC:
Dallas @ Seattle = They are not going to stop Shaun
NY @ Philadelphia = My sentimental pick, looking for Tiki to go to the SB.
Now onto the Awards:
MVP:
I also agree with new8403 it's a no-brainer, LT
Defnsive MVP:
Champ Bailey, better than the rest and not on steroids.
Offensive ROY:
Vince Young, might have had competition if Cutler had played more.
Defensive ROY:
DeMeco Ryans, might have spelled it wrong.
Coach of the Year:
Sean Payton
Comeback player of the year:
Chad Pennington

Can they split ROY and Coach of the Year??? The ROY should be split between VY and Drew. Coach should be Manging and Payton. If they can't split it, then it's gonna be close.

My playoff predictions:
Dallas Cowboys over Seattle Seahawks
New York Giants over Philadelphia
Indianapolis Colts over Kansas City Chiefs
New England Patriots over New York Jets
MVP - LT. However, Drew Brees had a great year too, but not good enough to beat out LT for the MVP.
Defensive MVP: Champ Bailey (I'm pretty sure about this one)
Offensive R.O.Y. - It WILL be Vince Young. However, I think Jones-Drew deserves it more, because he's only like 5'8 and never gives up on ANY play. His stats were great too, and Jacksonville's record is better than Tennesses I think. Don't get me wrong though, Vince Young had a great year too.
Defensive R.O.Y. - DeMeco Ryans (Obviously Houston messed up by picking Mario Williams with the first pick. They should have went with Young or Bush. However, when they selected DeMeco Ryans that was a great pick. So there draft wasn't a complete mess up at every pick.
Coach of The Year: Saint's coach - Sean Payton
Comeback player - Chad Pennington (Unless Drew Brees is eligble for this award as new8403 stated)

Indy over KC
Pats over Jets
Cowboys over Seahawks
Philly over Giants
MVP - as with everyone else... LT... you dont set records like that and not win
Defensive MVP - Champ
Offensive ROY - Vince Young... IMO no one is close because he took an 0-5 team and almost fit into the playoffs. To those who said Jones-Drew... where would the jags be without him and where would the titans be without vince
Defensive ROY - Ryans
Coach of the year - Sean Payton he led the team and the city to the playoffs
Comeback player - Chad Pennington or what about Jeff Garcia.. he had a pretty solid season.. not saying he should win but he deserves to be throw out there

AFC:
KC @ Indianapolis - KC just because indy cant play defense at all. smells like upset bigtime
NY @ NE - i am going with the jets. it can only take a former coach to beat the pats
NFC:
Dallas @ Seattle - seattle. dallas lost to the lions.
NY @ Philadelphia - phily. the giants are lucky to be there let alone win a playoff game.
MVP:
LT. this is just to easy to pick this one. no one is close to him.
Defensive MVP:
I am going to go with urlacher just because 25 tackles in one game that came against arizona. pretty much won the game for his team. take him away and they are in dip dog $hit if you get my drift.
Offensive ROY:
Vince Young. to easy. although drew is close he is doing nothing to make his team better. they could run the ball before him and will be able to run the ball after him. the jags defense is a top unit and they are full of talent on offense. Young has the worst defense (32nd ranked defense) and absolutly no talent on offense with him. seriously Vince Young could be put in MVP talk because they dont win a game without him. i am not saying he is the MVP but a vote or two would be fair.
Defensive ROY:
this is tough but demeco ryans is 2nd in the league in tackles. so he gets my vote.
Coach of the Year:
Jeff Fisher - amazing how a coach changes the qb and the team comes alive.
Comeback player of the year:
Chad Pennington - kind of hard to agrue against pennington.
