    Hello All

    New member here. Recently my daughter (10) discovered my old card collection while cleaning out the garage. I was going to just donate the lot (about 12K cards) but she wanted to go through them first. Watching her look at, investigate and arrange all the cards in team order brought kid in me back out. Now she wants to start her own collection. We are going to start the TTM process on cards she picks out. Looks like we will be starting with the Astros. Fortunately she is not focused on the value of the cards and just wants to build her little collection. She doesn't care and I don't care that 90% of my cards are from the junk wax era. We are just going to have fun together. We post with our successes.

    Michael,
    Enjoy the time she has doing this with you as you will sure miss it when it comes to an end. Might want to have you ask questions and make the note personal etc. As you never know how generous a player might be when they know they are responding to a child rather than an adult. A more personal experience over all and the more involved she is in packing up the whole ttm packets with them coming back more personalized might make it better as well. Also, since you probably will be contacting a lot of the guys that are not all about value they might truly enjoy the letters from a new fan after all these years. Happy TTM'ing.
