    Topps 2004...

I was gonna skip this year's Topps set myself, but being a big fan of Presidential history, I'll have to take a shot at this one. So I guess their "cheap gimmick" is gonna work, at least on me :)

I think that is really sad that they made cut signatures with documents containing Washington's signature. I think that they should have kept the document intact.

I also don't think that they should include these in a baseball set. However, it is nice that collectors have the chance to own them.

Just my opinion. Don't flame me.

i think it is a good idea im just not going to go boxes hoping to get one,.... its like this.. we all want that one card that will be a pull of a lifetime but most of us will never have them.... the lincoln or wqshington or JFK will provide that chance... also to do with bush on Iraq.... i was watching CNN at school and they had a great point.... what if by some chance saddam wanted to screw bush over and he did have the weapons and then he destroyed them... that would make bush look foolish and demoralize the US so to speak.... just a thought and maybe saddam isnt QUITE as stupid as we all thought... although i still think he needs to be a hood ornament on Air Force One.......

I agree that cutting up stuff like that is stupid. Its only worth money if its intact.

Would you pay thousands of dollars for a signature of Babe Ruth on a check? No.

You can buy them for a couple hundred dollars.

But companies buy them and cut them up and glue them on a piece of cardboard and they sell for 10 times that amount.

    I honestly don't get it.

BTW you don't have to worry about people flaming you for your opinion. As long as its within the rules you can say what you want on these boards.
