    Pet Peeves....

I'm irritated right now so this is a useful way for me to vent without banning people (kidding people....just kidding :new_silly ). Anyways, I was wondering what some of your pet peeves are related to the hobby/trading/etc. Here are a few of mine:

    - Tradelists that are made with NO rhyme or reason (like all mixed sports, no order whatsoever)....example:

    2006 Delanie Walker Leaf Rookie
    2001 Anthony Thomas SPX Auto
    2004 Chrome refractor Iverson
03 2 color patch of barber
    02 Frank thomas auto topps

-Seeing a box break and the person say "I only pulled these losers...all FT/FS ...and THEN when someone has an interest in one of the losers, the loser is all of a sudden the same calibur as Favre or Manning :icon_roll

-Seeing a collector that wants to trade for ANY and ALL Colts (just an example) but that really breaks down to only Manning, Harrison or Wayne.

-Seeing someone search dilegently for the latest 200 yrd/3 TD running back for their PC only to find this player on the same someones tradelist 3 weeks later because they only rushed for 50 yards.

-Watching the masses trade at "ebay value" for the High end stars but at Beckett BV for the losers (I mean hey...if they traded the losers at "ebay value" the cards would only be worth $2 in trade, right?).

PLEASE NOTE...this has NOTHING to do with any particular people in mind. I have been on trade boards for many years and these are just the things I have seen over that time that bug me.

Let's keep this non personal...I am just curious about others pet peeves in the hobby

    Peace~
    Rima

    all of the above!!!

people try and make online trading waaaaaay more difficult than it is.....im sure that if you had a trade night at your house, you wouldn't have to call each other up 10 times over the next week to "finalize a trade"

im still trying to finish up a deal that was agreed on 4 MONTHS AGO (and thats not a stretch, thats the honest truth!!)

my pet peeve is when you make a deal to buy something(something you really need say a desmond mason exquisite auto patch /25), you and the seller agree, you send the money, you dont hear from him for almost about 2 days and he decides to leave it on ebay, but for an extra 20 hell send it to you. yeah this happened to me.

but seriously it bugs me when people back out of deals.

The mixed up tradelists do bug me some. But the waiting for someone for days to get back to you on a PM sucks to.

    How about vague thread titles?

    "Mark Prior"

Well, do you want Prior, have Prior to trade, happen to be Prior? Add a fricken word and clear everything up...

I would have to agree with Rima about the list. I try to keep my pretty simple listed by Auto and player then maybe switch it up a little later to team breakdown.

    My biggest pet peeve,
    1) listing of just the last name, especially if there is more than one player with that last name. ie... Barber, Williams and so on.

    2) Not listing the make and year of the card.

    3) Making a post and then not recoginzing everyone that responds. As a matter of courtesy you should at least say, "No thanks but thanks for asking or something like that.
