    @cjb
Being in the U.S. sucks for that purpose. I did post on hobby insider had an offer to buy two cases. One I took as I thought the price was fair. Of course the buyer was from the US. He had them shipped to a friend so no problem with tracking and insured for full value to protect myself. They made it safe but he took responsibility from the U.S. to Canada. The other I decided to not go because I think it worth a little more.

I will reach to Jeremy if I ever decide to move them.

How much did you get for the first case and when?

It's a sellers market these days and unopened wax is a hot item

I'm noticing that a lot of these walk in hobby stores are selling loose packs of junk wax, just like the old days

    See ShamaleSands's Items on eBay

I am behind the ball on avenues for selling. I use eBay and these forums still. I have yet to use anything else like Facebook (I do not have social media) or Instagram (which I have thought about doing this to showcase all my cards for sale).

I Am actually watching 2 boxes for sale (2 listings) from Slabsharks on eBAy rigt now. I bought a box from him a month ago whilst also picking up some PC items.

If you come across any Motown Madness I may be interested in some for sure!

As for Decades 1990's, when I sold I probably recouped a good 75% of what I spent. However some of the autos now would be worth a bit more. The biggest difference is the Memorabilia cards now would sell for at least double what I ended up selling all that stuff for. The Autos from the set yielded me most of my money back. I had all 3 of the SSP dual autos. They all sold for basically what I purchased them for. I broke so much of this stuff that there were (I think) 48 total 1/1 Mega Patch cards ad I pulled 3 of them. I certainly wish I Still had the Mario Lemieux Penguin Eye Patch card. Oh well. Also I pulled a /10 Stick of Probert but the money was too good to pass up so I sold right away.

I sold it for $1800 and he helped me split the insurance on it as I insured it for the full 1800. Unlike some people I do not mind sharing what I sell things for. To go further Quincy was the one who bought it from HI. So, anyone can check my facts now. He had to pay shipping for the item to Canada which saved me a ton of hassle by keeping it in the U.S. As, I did not want to lose the product and not be able to recover in case something went awry.

Wax is hot it all about putting it in the right person hands. One thing about this stuff if you try to find a box or a case for that matter I doubt you will find one anywhere on the internet.

you are not alone as I still use these forums it just blows my mind as I offered tons of cases for sale and not one single person bought one. I mean I literally took them to the Nationals sold them for more than I paid so it was all good. Of course anyone on here could have gotten any of that product for like 40 percent of what D&A or SCC put them up after I sold them. As if I sold it to them them for 90 the boxes would be put up at 180. Sold six cases of misc hockey with one being a nice fleer retro Football with all the insane PMG's in there. Of course not a blink or blip in my pm's or post from my post 3 years ago when I started to move it. Sold it at the Nationals for about half of that for easy cash. I mean folks here who spend money on breaks and such could have gotten a killer product with some nice insane hits but you know how it is. I do not sell on ebay and rather pass it on to folks here first and avoid Facebook a lot. Started to post some on there as higher end stuff will move but have to watch out for crooks a lot more than here LOL.

    https://www.sportscardforum.com/thre...ht=fleer+retro

Coming across Motown madness is not going to happen and if it does a wholesaler is going to get it and blow the price sky high LOL. Had folks asking for Broadstreet as well as that never pops up. Tons of that stuff in boxes of the vault to be truthful but it stamped but to me it still awesome stuff per price per box.

As for the penguin EYE you mean something like this? I have sold so many cards lately to flipper but have always tired to move things here but pretty much given up as folks never ask about it or balk at prices. Low end stuff I understand but when I pull out stuff that been gathering dust my prices are fair. Just moved in my mind a nice Blues card from the early day game used 98/99 game used 2 color to boot. I almost thought fatfrank was going to pass on it. Even had a Nice pronged out of 10 that I sold 30 percent of someone price on COMC. I know he a blues fan and it always nice to get folks out there cards they might put in their pc. Speaking of that off to the post office to get his package out. Wish there was more but hey we know the boards are never going to have the speed they once did with so much of the social media prescene and such.

I am thinking one day I just might take a lot of the rare stuff and just move it to one of the big consignors in the state to get a better price than myself trying to piece it out. Who knows it a hobby for me and it will remain that for me. Just trying to move a lot of the lower end stuff which we all know it is so hard LOL

The Decades 90's Mega Patch Lemieux was a much bigger patch. About the size of the Lemieux picture there was the size of the patch, and yes contaning the eye, part of the head and beak of course.

So I listed, with pictures, some 120+ autograph cards. All that effort and not one sale here. As I was keeping the thread active for the first week I was actively selling some of the cards on eBay for 125%+ what I Was asking here. I mentioned this in the posts, and STILL no sales. I don't get it. I have basically stopped posting things for sale here. I have no problem selling for 75%-80% of eBay prices since that is what you yield from eBay. It only makes sense to try and keep money in the hobby rather than a middle man or two.

As for Motown Madness, yes if you see a single box for sale be prepared to spend $800-$999 ! I was talking more about singles you may come across, I highly doubt there are any boxes floating around the internet for anything close to affordable.

I stumbled across four cards and traded them to a moderator here as I put It in his pile. Are you going to try to go after the set. I do have a few I probably will stumble across in the future as I always keep coming across them in different boxes. Is there anything are looking for in particular from that set?
I totally understand and I buy things all the time from the site but it usually the low end stuff as that is my specialty at the show and of course hall of famers. If you ever sell some stuff lmk as there certain things I am looking for but it usually old stuff and low end hall of famers. I do try to pick up the occasional oddball here and there from time and time to be different. As I dabble in celebrity auto's and odd relics from time to time as no one else truly does it.
