Announcing the 2025 Show & Tell Contest Winners!

After 52 weeks and some absolutely amazing cards, the 2025 Show & Tell Contest has come to a conclusion. Thank you to the more than 50 members who participated through your submissions and your poll votes. It was a lot of fun last year.

The Contest was sponsored by our friends and returning sponsors Market Movers by Sports Card Investor

This year we had two prizes:
1. Contest Prize – the member who accumulates the most points throughout the year will receive first choice of two hobby boxes provided by our Contest Sponsor!
2. NEW: Member Engagement Prize – all members who enter at least 26 (that’s 50%) of the weekly contests will be entered into a random draw to win the other hobby box prize. This is a new offering, so that we see people continuing to participate throughout the season and recognize their efforts, even if they are not at the top of the standings.

The two prizes were a box of 2024-25 SPx and a box of 2024-25 Allure. The Contest Prize winner will have first selection, and the Member Engagement Prize winner will receive the other.
@johnse27 is our overall winner with 413 points -- accumulated through 153 entry points (he entered in 51 out of 52 weeks!) and 260 Contest Points through awesome cards and voting. He always brings the heat. Congratulations!

For the Member Engagement Prize, we had 9 members who had a minimum of 78 Entry Points (26 entries) and put them into a Random.Org List Generator and hit the button three times. The name on top of the list was @09232003. Jim was the ONLY member who submitted an entry every week of the contest, and he had a lot of really cool Penguins cards to show off throughout the year. Amazing.

Thanks very much Richard! Loved this years contest and really enjoyed seeing all the awesome cards during it. Thanks to the SCF staff as well as I know they had many hard decisions to make weekly determining what the top 3 cards would be. Lastly thanks for the members votes as I know how hard it is when there are so many amazing cards to vote for. Looking forward to the new 2026 contest. Cheers!
