    Hello and a quick question

    Hi all, I had been collecting for many years, I'm in my 50's, and much of my collection is vintage. My son and his stepson have gotten into collecting which has brought me back into it, the hobby is very different than it used to be but still a ton of fun. I don't get into grading but am more building my collection out to have something to hand over to my son later in life, always shopping for rookies, autographs and vintage cards. Living in FL we also attend lots of spring training games where we can get in person autographs.

    The question for the group I have is around card valuation, what App or resource do people use to get a fairly accurate value on cards?

    Looking them up on eBay under SOLD is what most people go by to get an accurate value on the cards value

    @MarcF

    As the member said above ebay sales. Of course if you want a longer window you can use 130 point. If you're getting a lot of stuff you cannot find might need to sign up for premiums as they can ascertain data back farther but usually you can do good without it.

    p.s. Just a note on the 130 you can use other markeplaces and especially on older vintage it will give you a ton of sales on stuff from other sources which is great as it might go back years not just recently. Have any questions feel free to ask.

    Welcome to SCF Marc, hope you are enjoying yourself here! If you go to eBay, you can do a search for completed listings and sold listings of a specific card. On 130point.com, just type the best description of the card you are looking to get a value of, and it will give you everything you need.

    Welcome to the site. For modern cards I use Sportlots.com. For vintage eBay is probably your best bet although you could always ask for opinions on the site.
