All what I can really say after Florida's win is that OSU IMO was OVERRATED! Also, I really believe there need's to be a playoff system, because IMO it would have been really fun to see Boise St play in the championship game with someone else. The Gators played well and really took it to the Buckeyes. Chomp! Chomp! Chomp! Chomp! Chomp! Chomp!

oh, no one should have been over the buckeyes...they went undefeated in a major conference....my point has always been that the big 10 as a conference was overrated, and if any of the top teams in any of the other major conferences played them they would beat them.....that is the reason i was so against a rematch between michigan and ohio state...i think the fact that florida beat osu, and usc beat michigan proves that point....not in any way saying that the buckeyes didnt deserve to be the #1 team until tonigt....hey, they were undefeated!!....but now, thats a different story!!

It makes you wonder now though....a one defeated team won the championship over an undefeated team. Definitely time for a playoff!

im not gonna argue that fact....do i think boise desreves a shot, yup....do i think that florida, usc, lsu are all fairly better all around teams than boise, yup...i will take a playoff any day, but i really dont think it would matter. oklahoma was far from the calibur of offense AND defense as the gators are....a good game, maybe....but my opinon is it would look much like this game did....again, im all for it!!!

Oklahoma was #9, weren't they? I think if Boise State can beat them then they have a good shot at Florida, USC, LSU or OSU. One thing I would like to see is that all teams play the same length of schedule. I think they should all start the season on the same date, or thereabouts, and end it one the same date, again, therabouts. Maybe the 51 day layoff gave OSU too much time off, who knows. But at the same time it could give a team an adavantage. There are a few ways this game could be improved

that 51 day lay off is ALL on the big 10 man....have a conference championship game like the rest of the major conferences!! i got no sorrow for ya on that one, lol....not sure if the okies were 9 or not, but even so, there is a BIG difference between #9 and #1....hell, im a WVU fan, and with a healthy steve slaton and pat white, i think they could beat boise....like i said, i would LOVE to see a playoff, but i think that the top of the major conferences still have an edge on the top of the mid majors just on the quality of players, due to recruiting....nothing against boise, but florida had the #6 defense (maybe rush defense) in the nation playing in the SEC!!! these teams that play in major conferences play tough competition day in and day out (ecepet the big 10.....JUST KIDDING!!!)....i dont think that oklahoma was that great of a team....nice offense with peterson, but nothing out of the ordinary like some of the top 5 teams have year in and year out!!....anyway, im done with this thread till tomorrow...getting tough to see the screen!!! it will be a miracle if this is even legible when i read it tomorrow, but i know what im talkin about!! HEHEHE....go gators!!! im outtie!!!

I dont think the Big Ten can have a playoff with only 11 teams, now if stupid Notre Dame would join we would have 12 teams and would be able to divide up into two, and play a confernce championship.
