    Learned something today on Cal’s RC I recently picked up

    1982 Topps Traded #98T: This is the flagship rookie card. It was an exclusive mail-away set available to dealers in 1982 and remains the most popular and valuable rookie of his career.1982 Topps #21 (Future Stars): Often considered his true "base" rookie card. It features Ripken alongside teammates Bob Bonner and Jeff Schneider under the "Future Stars" banner.
