COMC Issues!
First a little back story I've been a customer of COMC since 2012. I love the site for filling in the cheaper commons in my sets and I've never had an issue in 14 years of dealing with them. Till now.
I placed an order on Jan 23rd 2026 with an expected shipping date of May 12th 2026. 5 months to ship is longer than I've ever had to wait but because they've never let me down before I didn't question it. May 12th came and went, no update they just keep adding a day each day that passes. Several days ago I reached out for an update. After several run-ins with their customer service bot and lots of unanswered emails I am starting to get a little worried. The order is for 156 cards with a Bv of over $2000.
I have tried to find a phone number so I can actually talk to a human but can't find one. Does anyone have a number I can call to see what is going on? Or maybe some information that would explain the huge delay and lack of a response.

This has been an ongoing thing for most of 2026 unfortunately. It was somewhat understandable during the pandemic. But given the popularity of the hobby and the expectations people have (fair or unfair) these ongoing delays are getting just really bad.
There's a reddit dedicated to COMC and there's so many threads wondering what the heck is going on with them. People sending in their cards to be listed are getting delays. People requesting their cards to be shipped are getting delays. And shipping costs are inexplicably going up too.
I currently have about 70 cards in my portal ready to be shipped. I was going to put in the order today but it would have been $52USD to do so, and that would get me cards in late August. To me, that's not acceptable. The next cheapest option would be $44 and then I would get them in October after the 2026-27 season has started.
By contrast, I'm not super psyched that Upper Deck split off so much of its Epack shipping to The Authority because yay now I have to deal with two vendors for my own cards. But I just requested shipment of 20 of my various Habs GDM/New Arrivals/etc. and it was $20US and I'll have them early July shipped via FedEx.
The COMC shipping will be the usual small box sent via standard Canada Post.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

I couldn't agree more. With customer service like this I can definitely see why Upper Deck is trying to distance themselves from them. But on a brighter note after a bunch of emails (all of which went unanswered), several frustrating bot 'conversations' and a few hours on hold my order was marked as 'in transit' this morning. So 5 months later and 3 weeks late maybe I'll get my cards after all.

My most recent horror story with COMC was that I purchased a couple of raw McDavid Young Guns back in 2018, there was no notation of any damage. Both of them I reprocessed as Elite to be able to examine them better. One of them I did a COMC Raw Card Review that came back Gem Mint. I thought, awesome a PSA 9-10. So I sent it in this year... came back a PSA 8. Very disappointed to say the least.
The other one I'm waiting on to come back, but not holding my breath.

The Raw Card Review isn’t offered anymore. I did it probably before covid.

Thanks for letting me know. i never been a fan of COMC but that is just me. Love the idea but it grew to fast from what the original owner intended especially when it comes to cusomter service. Just like most companies when bought out they lose the original owner vision.

When did they drop it? I just did one a few months ago. Was very disappointed with how they handled the process.
