I think they're preparing for Hellebuyck's departure...and there's not a lot of options out on the market.

Yeah, there seems to be a lot of young he might be the guy guys out there, and older, he's not the guy, back up guys...and guys who were the guy, but are kind of old now guys...lol

The Flyers went nuclear with this one.

Carlsson has a lot of upside: the former #2 overall pick, big piece of the Ducks' rebuilding efforts.

But if I'm Anaheim, I'm letting him walk, taking the Flyers' next 4 first-round picks, and getting some real good draft capital / players while hoping the Flyers fail.

As a Leafs fan as well, this FA has been good. I can't wait to see Bob this upcoming season! Hope he's good for us.

This is wild! Ducks said they would match any offer, but that was before someone pushed 18 million onto the table!
Emotion says you can't "fold" and have to match but logic says 4 firsts and 18 M in cap space is worth more than any one player.
