06 Bowman Chrome Box `Break

Well I got this for $80 ish which I thought was decent. Not great but not terrible considering there is only one hobby shop in town.

At any rate I wasn't all that thrilled:

Auto:
Brad freaking Smith and it has a bubble under the sticker so I have to send it back. I swear Topps is getting worse about this. This is the second time I have had to send an auto back due to a bubble under the sticker.

At any rate, most of that is for trade Would be looking for the usual stuff.

Yes, topps seem to be going downhill. 80 bucks and a break like that is enough to break your heart. At least you got the Vince Young Rookie Refractor

IMO I thought that was a great break! Got some top rc's and the Vince Ref is a VERY nice card. I'm sure you could get 40 on ebay un graded.
Nice break!

In bowman chrome what makes or breaks your box is everything but the auto. Because 9/10 times the auto will suck, and you have to expect that.

I agree, the Refractor was nice but I guess I don't feel as bad knowing I would have had to spend close to half of what I paid for the box just to get that refractor on Ebay. I think last I check I would have had to spend like $50+ to get both those cards off Ebay so when I look at it like that I guess it wasn't so bad...

Craigerman-
I haven't the foggiest idea what value to put on the Martin. The Topps Chrome Red refractor book $25 but I have no idea what that is numbered to, it looks like it might cary when I look on Ebay and see some /5 or /25 or /259?
LMK what you think you should know more about Martin rookies than me. :)

Like I told Chaos I think I am lightening up on the break now. I still don't think it was great but maybe it wasn't as bad as I first thought...

Not in a hurry to get rid of that one bud, I think you get most of my Addais as it is! With him in the SB I think I might be well suited to hold on to a few....:)

Pretty nice on the Young...overall though I would be pretty disappointed too. Hopefully Topps takes good care of you on the auto.
