please say it isnt so......
today my brother in law told me that the set I was collecting can never be complete because a moron by the name of Carlos Rogers did not sign the 2005 Scripts for success set that Upper Deck sent out redemptions for. That totally sucks. That is the only card that I need for that set. Can anybody confirm or deny this statement with 100% certainty? If this rumor is true what would this mean for the set? Would I have what is considered the "whole set"? or do I basically have 47 peices of cardboard that is good for nothing more that toilet paper? Because honestly thats how I feel right now. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Tell me what you would do in this situation if it were you. Thank you everybody!!!

If he didn't sign that means your set is complete because nobody will have it. Display with pride regardless.

You could do either three things.
A.) Get the redemption and send it in and hope he eventually signs.
B.) Just display the redemption card.
C.)Just be happy with your set now.
Or combine 2 or 3.

If it means that much to you maybe you can contact UD and see if they can send you the blank, then you could get it autographed the old fashion way and have a one of a kind set. Maybe a little far fetched, I don't know? Good luck with whatever you do. Don't get to bummed thats quite a set you built.

It kind of bums me out that Rogers has not signed the cards because I had designed a matted frame to display all 48 cards. I guess I am displaying the redemption until something else changes with that card. But, if I could get a hold of the blank how do you think would be the best way to get it autographed?

If you live in Washington you could go to one of the training camps or you could send it out with a letter to the teams HQ, explaining what happened and he might send it back

Or you can always just stalk Carlos Rodgers:new_shock

Carlos Rogers stinks. Why he would do that is beyond me. Enjoy the set and don't worry about that overpaid piece of trash's card

Told ya so. Dont worry man like I told you remember that Chris Brown and Roddy White redemption that I got back 6 months ago? UD sent me the same letter the other day apologizing since neither one of them Signed but as we both know I sold the Sweet Spot Roddy White and I still have the Sign of the Times Chris Brown. So on;y time will tell whats really up. Plus I got an email out to them so we'll see.
