And the winnner is ...
Topps
BUT, it certainly wasnt good. I got my package back today, with the SAME damaged cards, nothing replaced. The letter stated that "Does fall within the normal printing tolerances". I didnt think scratches, bent and peeling corners, fell under that.
I called a Topps Rep a few minutes ago, and shes going to give me a call bad. Gotta give Topps an F for the replacements, but Customer Service lady was very nice and I got through right away.

Another followup. Contaced Topps on Friday about this, and I spoke to a woman. Later said she would call me back, and did not. Gave a call today, and spoke with one of the guys there. Says the people in Duryea, PA at the plant, said they replaced EACH AND EVERY card I sent in. I then stated that I found that highly unlikely, as I recieved the SAME cards, with the SAME Serial numbers as when I sent them in. They are now sending me some thing to print off via Email, and send them back to the company.
I usually regarded Topps highly, but this doesnt make me very happy. Ya drop $200 on a box, get junk as it is, find a lollipop in the box, and get damaged cards. Then they do nothing for ya!

Topps is just doing everything they can to discourage customers from returning cards. Yes, you pay a fortune for their product only to find that it has scratches, peeling edges or dinged corners. From a collector perspective new cards should be in perfect condition. I certainly dont want your Bowman Chrome Bush with a factory scratch.
They have returned a few of my shipments with lame excuses or snotty letters.
Now, even though is not mentioned anywhere in their policy or procedure they want barcodes and receipts for all returned product.
Sports cards are one of the few areas where the manufacturer can say screw you and refuse to stand behind their product.

Topps used to be very good though. Because they are a stock traded company, they usually invested a bit more in there company.
The letters I recieved back from the company, seemed like they were doing me a favor. You know the "This is a one time thing", or the "We really shouldnt have replaced these". If Topps doesnt right this wrong, I wont buy from them again.

I am SHOCKED to see anyone here actually have any backing towards any of the card companies. These companies have been bilking card collector`s for decades now. Well at least 1 decade anyway. If there is a way of bilking anything out of these companies, then let us know. We DESERVE to get back at them. They are the biggest ripoffs of any industry. It`s cardboard with a picture on it for crying out loud. Where is my piece of gum damnit???!!! :)
Good luck with getting whatever you can from these companies wether it`s legit or not. These card companies can take their "stated odds" and stick`em!!

You can't blame the companys for keep rising there prices, when people keep buying them at that price.

Its simply about a manufacturer standing behind their product. You know what to expect when you attend an event or buy a box of cards. However, if the product is damaged or defective you should receive a replacement or refund. If one team doesnt show up you will probably get a ticket refund. If your new car breaks the manufacturer will fix it. If you get bad food at the supermarket it will be replaced. Trading cards are one of very few products where the store and manufacturer can just say "screw you" and refuse to refund or replace. Topps is taking full advantage. When a large number of cards are damaged I return them to the store and insist on a refund.

Well, as if today wasnt bad enough, Topps added insult to injury. So I came home and got my mail, noticed a large package from Topps. So Im thinking, sweet, they made it right and sent me new cards, or a box or something.
I open it up, and out slides a letter. So Im figuring, this must be the list, or an apology? Right?
Nope!
Heres what it said:
Your recent request to have your cards replaced again is being DENIED. We did replace your cards the first time, and we still have the original cards you sent in. We document all cards that are sequentially numnbered. The cards we replaced the first time that we sent out to you were not damaged, therefor after talking to our Quality Control Dept. and Supervisor we are returning your cards. We consider this complaint closed.
Are they joking? Why in the world would I complain AGAIN if the cards were sent back UNDAMAGED the second time? Obviously they werent replaced!!! I am just fuming at this bull, you think they would be a bit nicer, considering it was a $200 box at the time of purchase.
Does anyone have a phone number where a bigger supervisor, or head of management type of person can be reached at Topps?

Yes, that does sux! Topps is trying to replace your avatar. I have been saying Donruss & Press Pass are at the top of the heap. Topps & UD are the worst.
