If it was only 18 packs, you might have gotten retail instead of hobby...which doesn't guarantee an auto...
Of course, if it says 1 auto on box...then you'll have to send it back (I had to do that with my box of Turkey Red...at least they let me keep the cards I'd already busted)

nope. bought this from a hobby store for $85 with money I got from wrappers. the outside of the box says.....
"2 Bowman Chrome cards per pack!, 1 autograph and 2 relics per box!"
no way is this retail. i am very disappointed. i dunno what to do.....

contact topps, and ask them the proper thing to do...prolly have to mail something back to them.

Well, I don't know the exact wording on the box...but if it says "On average" they might say that your box was not average...better to just e-mail/call their customer support and see what can be done.
The Topps people I spoke with said just send 1) receipt, 2) UPC, 3) pack wrappers, 4) letter of explanation; if they feel that my claim is legit, they will send replacement...good luck with your situation

ya it was expensive but I had close to 800 wrappers so it only costed me $5.

Considering it can be had for $50 on DA Card world, lol, but can't complain for $5
