    David Carr - Getting Traded

Just heard on the NFL Network the Texans are entertaining offers for David Carr

Whats your opinions on this? Who will pick him up?

    http://fantasyfootball.usatoday.com/...rt=NFL&id=1576

The team that acquires David Carr is expected to sign him to a cap-friendly contract, similar to how Miami did Joey Harrington in 2006.

The Texans will take a $2 million cap hit to move him and are expected to draft a QB in April to mold behind Sage Rosenfels and another veteran.

Oakland is a possibility but I hear they are very high on Jamarcus Russell from LSU. Many mock drafts have him as the #1 pick in the draft. I could see him going to Detroit, Cleveland, Jacksonville, or Minnesota. Heck maybe even Green Bay if they aren't happy with Aaron Rodgers. I wouldn't be surprised to see a draft day trade if Brady Quinn is still there when they pick. I'm not very familiar with the style of offense Gary Kubriak runs down in Houston and what fits David Carr more.

Looks like Plummer might be the fit for the Texans becuase of Cutler and ther Kubiak connection. Mario Williams good times there!

I'm siding with Nezarino and thinking there may be some sort of trade deal in the works between Houston and Denver, Kubiak has a man crush on Plummer and even though Denver would like to keep him as a backup there is no feasable way to do that.

I wouldn't be all that surprised to see a QB flip between Denver and Houston and some sort of draft compensation for both teams. I woulld love for Denver to have Houstons' 1st rounder but I think we would have to give up to much to get it. Maybe the likes of Plummer and a 2nd or Plummer and a 2/3 round combo, which Denver can't afford to give up that many picks!

I would like Carr as a Viking to give Tarvaris another year or 2 of molding behind Carr and Bollinger. Hes not ready yet.

I dont believe hes worth a 2nd or 3rd round pick yet, Vikings got that for Culpepper and he was a pro bowler.
