This Reggie Bush Topps Rookie, why did Topps do this?
Alright, you see this card?
It is the Reggie Bush rookie from the TEAM SETS. Topps mistakenly jumped too fast on his whole number situation and made this rookie with him wearing #5.
My question(s) is/are:
-Team sets are made before the normal Topps Product? We all know what his normal non-team set RC looks like. Why would this be different?
-They seriously made an authentic Reggie Bush jersey with the #5? Imagine if THAT JERSEY got on ebay, like sold directly by Topps or something. They probably have cut it up and put it into cards by now :icon_sad:
-Sellers advertise it as an error card, would it be considered one?
I think it is an interesting card, let me know if you can answer any of my questions.

I don't think it is an error card. They printed 100 billion of those team sets, all with the number 5. I could have bought 100 of em at target but I thought it was a weird pic and passed it up. It's as much of an error as "the bird" leon's finger photo.

right before the super bowl, Home Shopping Network was hawking Reggie cards like there was no tomorrow, among those, the Topps card with him wearing #5, so it's obviously not an error. Think of it as one more way for Topps to squeeze a few bucks out of collectors

Just consider them A and B versions.
