Sent this e-mail to UD, Will report what comes back
To whom it may concern:
First of all, I am very angry and upset about all of your card products. Card collecting always and has been one of my hobbies. Topps and Donruss are great companies, always including inserts, game used, and autograph cards in their products. Your products, however, are terrible. I have tried unsearched pack after pack of all of your products, and when I buy them I get nothing good from you. It is ridiculous. I get all base cards when I buy your products. For example, today I bought three packs of your SP Authentic football product. I got nothing but base cards including NO ROOKIES, NO GAME USED, and NO AUTOGRAPHS. When I buy Topps products, I got star rookie cards in every pack. I'm not talking about buying a few packs every month and getting nothing, THIS IS A RECURRING THEME. To tell you the truth, you have lost me as a customer. This is ridiculous how you can fill these packs with garbage, call them a product, and then sell them for ridiculously high amounts of money. Here's a tip: collectors are becoming more and more fed up with you and will do the same thing, cutting out all of your products in favor of other companies.
Also, your redemption cards are a joke. I have waited since September 29 to get my Thabo Sefolosha autograph card from 2006-07 Upper Deck Rookie Debut basketball. It is now Febuary 24. This is five long months of waiting with the site saying "athlete commited to signing, please be patient." Well guess what, I'm tired of waiting for your garbage. Either stop including stupid redemption cards or return them on time.
All in all, your company to me and to others is a joke. We will not tolerate your overpricing on packs and your ridiculous odds on getting either a rookie, game used, or autograph card.

Im still a customer.... they do this because they want you to buy the boxes....
and they dont care if the lose 1 customer or in fact more then that... they get alot of money off there products

Please let us know how they reply to you. I am interested in what they will say. However, I am more interested in how long it will take UD to reply to your e-mail considering they take years to send/reply to redemptions. Lol.

IF you get an answer it will be basically they try their hardest for customer satisfaction yada yada yada and then as an end result you will get away from buying their stuff until a product comes out that looks really nice and you will get suckered back into buying it. The only thing that could be done at all is a complete boycot but good luck organizing that one... too many people live by the babe ruth pulls you can only get out of upper deck products

ok then with football or whatever it is your buying... i have seen this post a thousand times about how i will never buy another UD product... next year when SPA comes out again you will be there buying it because it is the best product out there... UD knows what they are doing and they are doing it very well. They have all these customers that hate how business is done but keep coming back because it is the only place to get letterman patches in the hobby. Im just saying it was a waste of time because honestly it sounds very unprofessional and i dont think anyone at UD will take it serious. It sounds like a collector who had a bad break and wants to vent about it which i am sure they get emails like that every day. You are begging for opinions on it and that is exactly what i gave you.
