So I finally talked the people at work into bringing out the cards (as our vendor not only doesn't come on Friday...they quit, leaving us in charge of them again).

Was hoping we'd get some rack packs, but we didn't. Just blasters and 2 wax boxes. Bought 4 packs, spending pretty much the rest of the money I have until payday.

By the by, it appears that Red Backs are Hobby Only. Hobby gets 2 per pack, retail gets none.

Just as a note, right now not trading anything 'cept the Carlos Lee gold, and only for an Astro that I actually collect gold card :D

You better put the Jeter on a 1 day listings, because the hype on the card is slowing down. Hope ya get some money for it though.

And it's not slowing down as fast as some think, but yea.

I'll probably only get like $40-50 for it, which still isn't bad.

yea my friend first listed that card at 75 bucks, then I lowered it to 35, then I lowered it to 25 to hope he at least gets 1 bid. But we will see.

Yea I bet you will. And it seems like the guys who have free shipping are going much higher. Just something I have noticed.

The problem is, listings skyrocketed last night; there are thousands of auctions for this card ending this evening (1-day auctions listed last night), and these are the auctions that I think will significantly drive the price down. I originally had 2 BIN's (fixed-price listing) at $70, and then about 30 minutes before bed I changed it to $40 so I wouldn't get shout out and sold them both by the time I went to sleep. I also had a pair of 1-day auctions with $.99 starting bids and $55 BIN's, and I woke up to see one sold at $55 but the other one ends around midnight so I think I'm going to lower that BIN price. Auctions are still tending to end around $40-$60 right now, so who knows, but I feel like the bulk of auctions were added (and then ending tonight) between about 7-11 ET.
