When I sell on ebay I charge $2.00 and I ship as follows:

    -soft sleeve
    -in a toploader
    -in a teambag
-with D/C (for my own sake)
    -I offer ins @ $1.30 per $50 worth

If I sell something that goes for over $20.00 and the buyer does not choose to buy ins I ins the package anyways (unknown to them until they receive) because I do not want to get hosed if something happens to the card and IMHO it is the sellers responsibility to get the card to the buyer.

I know most would say that's not enough to charge...$3.00 for shipping as described above is plenty IMO.

    Good luck!

    Peace~

It depends on how you are going to ship the card. If you are going to ship the card as BlackDiam0nd66 then $2 is very fair and reasonable. If you are going to ship with just a bubble mailer and a stamp or two then I wouldn't charge more than a $1.00 or $1.50.

I wouldn't pay more than $3 for a single card. On singles I always charge $2 with DC and first class.

If you take two cards (in soft sleeves, top loaders, a team bag and a 4x6" bubble mailer) to the post office you'll be charged less than 70 cents for first class mail. So one dollar should more than cover the cost of the materials and shipping. Delivery Confirmation is an extra 60 cents and $50 insurance is an extra $1.30 for all packages.

I think you typically see anywhere from $2 to $3.50 shipping costs on eBay (nine times out of ten they don't include delivery confirmation or insurance) and many people offer combined shipping at anywhere from 5 cents per extra card up to $2 per card.

You could start a pretty big argument over shipping prices because a lot of people charge extra to cover their eBay & Paypal fees and they try to sneak a little extra profit when they can.

you also have to take into consideration turn around time.... for me i cant go to the PO very often due to my work schedule.... i usually use paypal to print my labels... there it is 1.45 for the cheapest method... in turn, i usually charge a little more than 2 dollars because of the toploader, bubble envelope, ink and printer fees, scheduled pick up.... i usually go with 2.50 or 2.99 for shipping because of that.... i could ship for 1.50 easily if i went to the PO but you would also be waiting a while for your card
