now i am picky when it comes to autos. i sent the seller a message saying, whats up with the difference and that i might want my money back. i got a reply saying "well i will have to charge you 15% restocking charge".
what would you do?

I'd tell the guy to take his restocking fee and... Who ever heard of a restocking fee on a card? Yep, walking from the mailbox to the shoebox next to his computer is worth 10% and setting the card into the shoebox on top of whatever else he has for sale is worth another 5%.
Contact eBay about it. It's obviously not the same card and you have an even better case about it not being "as described" because you have photo proof - and you should save the auction page as well as the photo from it to your harddrive just in case. They probably won't do anything to him but you should be able to win a dispute against which should further your chances of returning the card without a fee.
What a lowlife. People like this seriously need a hobby - aside from card collecting.

Do a chargeback with paypal under "item not received as described" or whatever the wording is.
Is yours #d 3/30 as stated in the auction? Just curious. If so, you may want to take a pic of the back as well just to show for sure yours was not the one he showed in the auction. (although the front is obvious it's different).
Peace~

All you can do is dispute it. He is trying to make money off you either way. He had that one and put a pic of a better one on his ad. False advertisement, big suprise.

LOL. Offered you $20 to keep it? I've seen alot of Shady Powersellers recently and this one is getting added to the list.
Too bad the auto looked so bad other wise it would have been a nice pick up

this is another reason why I`m leaving this crap hobby. I have seriously become so disgusted with it from the eBay sellers/scammers to the companies themselves(scammers as well). It`s time to get out.
I would definitely demand my money back. I would even pay the seller a visit if they are located within 200-300 miles. Make a weekend out of it. But thats just me.
