Breakout Player
No, I haven't disappeared, just been really busy, but yeah, I'm still here.
Ok, there's been a bunch of moves so far this offseason. So which, of the lesser-known players will flourish in their new system this year.
I personally think it will be Travis Henry in Denver. First off, I've said for the past few years that Henry should be, and is very capable of being a featured back, and a potential MVP candidate. He's just had some bad luck lately. Now that he's in Denver, he will become one of the elite in my mind. You can't go to Denver as a RB and not become a standout automatically, it's just impossible. I mean seriously, who was Reuben Droughns before he went to Denver. After his good season, he was traded to Cleveland and became a starter.
We all know how this is most likely gonna turn out with Henry. I predict that in the next 2 seasons, 1 of them will have Henry over 1,500 yards (injuries not included).

I personally want to see how Mario Williams does his 2nd season, which will be (hopefully) a pain-free one, since he played all of last year with a hurt foot.

It's tough for a guy like Mario Williams to really have a breakout year just because of the expectations that follow a #1 pick around. He'll definitely have a better year, no doubt, but it'll be tough to live up to the hype.
Travis Henry is the obvious pick. If he can stay off drugs and stay healthy he should have his most productive season ever.
You always have to look at third year wide receivers to really break out. Michael Clayton, Braylon Edwards, Troy Williamson, Mark Clayton, Vincent Jackson, Reggie Brown... Any of those guys could become very important to their teams this year (some of them already are) as long as the QB situations are taken care of.
Antwaan Peek (LB) has, in my mind, always been a good player and he might thrive now that he's in Cleveland. Daniel Graham (TE) should become a huge weapon for Cutler in Denver. Dewayne White (DE) has always been underrated and might get even better production in Detroit (not sure if he'll be moved to left end or if they're moving Kalimba Edwards over). Nate Clements (CB) is probably going to have a big year because, man, he's in a pass happy division now. And you always have to watch out for the Rams receivers - Drew Bennett (WR) is going to be a big target for Bulger, I mean, they score so many touchdowns through the air and this guy is golden inside the ten.

I really like Travis Henry, and I chose him for the simple reason of the way he has been treated and lack of respect he has gained throughout the league in his years in the NFL.
Other than Henry, I expect Ashley Lelie to really have a coming out party in SF (assuming he can hang on to the frigging ball).

If everything remains as-is, Vernand Morency will be Green Bay's feature back, running behind a young, talented O-line and a zone blocking scheme known for padding the stats of its running backs (just look at Denver over the last 12 years).
Also, Musa Smith in Baltimore is one McGahee twisted ankle away from feature back status.
Look for Kevin Jones in Detroit to make a nice comeback.
Defensively, remember this name: Green Bay DE Cullen Jenkins. This kid is going to be a very good player.

Agreed 100% Travis Henry will have a stellar year in Denver, not just because I'm a homer but because he really fit's the system up there in Denver. One cut and go powerful downhill runner with a nasty stiff-arm to go with it all. He runs powerful from the legs and while he doesn't have serious break away speed he can certainly truck over people on occasion.
as for someone else to watch .....
Brandon Marshall (WR) in Denver, started coming on late and Cutler seemed to look to him often. After 5 games together last year and a full training camp to get into rhythm he should have some nice numbers this year .... at least my PC hopes so!!!

Now, that Stallworth is gone, time for Reggie Brown to flourish

Henry is gonna do good because of the system he is in thats a gimme. I think Willis Mcgahee might surprise some people possibly.

I think if McNabb stays healthy for the saeson Brown and newly acquired Kevin Curtis will put up some decent numbers. Also if the Raiders can win a few more games I think my man Kirk Morrison might get some more exposure for his great play
