Does it Decrease the Value if UD Black Cards Are Removed From the Clear Plastic Pack?
I'm bidding on a couple on ebay right now that are in the plastic clear packs still, and I'm wondering if it's alright to remove them from the packs.

I don't think it decreases the value. The clear plastic pack around is just for protection. You can take the actual card out, and put it in a penny sleeve or toploader or whatever, and it shouldn't decrease the value.

I don't have mine in the plastic (cuz it never came in the plastic to begin with) It shouldn't make a difference as long as you keep it protected with something

from personal experience I'd have to say yes, removing the plastic affects the resale value.

they provide protection to the card. its as valuable as keeping a card uncirculated to set it apart from the rest of the print run. imagine that there are 10 cards all of which came in the plastic wrap and 9 are taken out of the plastics, wouldent you consider the last protected card to be 'special'?
