The HOT HOT descriptions kill me and also the extremely rare for a card that has a few thousand copies.
I love it when it is some guy that retired five years ago and it is a 2003 card of him and they put HOT!!! in the listing. How is it a hot card, he is retired and the card is not new.
Does anyone search for HOT in their searches for cards. I bet you will find a bunch of garbage.

No offense - but who cares? that's how a business works. I don't collect Matt Schaub, could care less about him, so why wouldn't I flip what I have for a profit? everyone can be all "sensitive" and tell themselves that people should collect for fun...but alot of us collect things that are selling well to flip them for a profit. It's called good business.

buisness to me = profits or atleast an attempt at profiting
And in my experience, and I have just as much football card knowledge as anyone on here, that if u are in this to make money, you are dreaming!

It’s not about making money. I rarely sell anything. I make more then enough money in my career. The point is that Schaub is the player of the moment and therefore I can turn a profit because I happen to have one of his best rookies. I’d be a fool not to sell. I could care less about the guy…so why would I hold on to his card? Just because some people think only collecting/flipping the hot players isn’t the “hobby” way of doing things? That’s ridiculous. I can sell Schaub today or tomorrow for $150.00 or 6 months from now for maybe $85.00. Give me one good reason to not sell now?

I dont even want to get into it bro, it irritates me to no end.........
all this garbage is pouring over to these sites and is making it zero fun......in fact most people you deal with are like used-car salesman......truly is ruining the hobby.....
Also love the types that think their cards are better than yours no matter bv or anything as if you should be honored to trade with them......
Honestly all this greed up here lately has got me thinking about not trading anymore and just buying/selling my needs.....too much of a headache..lol
I mean i understand selling for to make a little money and there is nothing wrong with some profit, hell put far enough into this hobby so i expect something in return.......but everyone has this card-shop owner mentality trying to screw everyone else over......I usually avoid them like the plague
anyways ill shut up, itll just depress me.......
