How Buyback auto's work?
Does anyone know exactly how the buyback system works? I've seen base cards that i have that have been auto'd with the buyback system. I was wondering how this all worked..if Upper Deck posts them on their website...or what...i have no idea on how it works.... Thanks

they just buy back cards from previous years and then have them signed

Are they just inserted into packs directly then?? or redemptions?? or what

they can be in packs or redemtion. i think one of the new fleer products had redemptions for a random player buyback auto.

They also typically come with either an extra hologram on the back, or were "packaged" with a COA (for UD buybacks anyway)

both of my buybacks were inserted in packs and it basically came with its own COA on another card...On the back of the card itself has a hologram with a serial number/identification number that matches the hologram on the COA..
