This is in response to some of the RIDICULOUS PM offers I have been getting.

This is NOT a fire sale! Please be reasonable in your offers and make offers accordingly.

Most of you know that Autos of players like Ripken or GU of players like Mantle generally sell for closer to BV than the usual 50% of book type deal.

I understand you are not giving them away but I have NEVER seen a Ripken auto sell for close to book..in fact if you get 50% you had a good day, unless it is numbered lower that /25. Not trying to be a pain just telling you what I have seen.

Not trying to argue with you on this point, but I see Ripken Autos - especially with GU - go for 75%-80% of BV regularly on eBay. More so since the HOF announcement - and I'm sure his and Gwynn's stuff will get hotter around July when the Induction Ceremony takes place.

If you change your mind, let me know... like I said, check eBay - I missed out on this card 4 times before I got it and I have yet to see it go for less than $30 on the Bay - when you can find it. I am only letting it go because I now have the Gammons Auto from the Sweet Spot Announcers set.

I could do $20 for it. I once had a Gammons Auto #2/2 from an UD set in 04 that I paid like $15 for and I wish I would have kept it, since he is now in the hall of fame.
