eBay Situation, PISSIN ME OFF...
I feel like eating a few game used cards and then taking a wood bat and putting a couple holes in the wall.
Today, 6 buisness days after recieving payment for my Aikman patch/auto, the buyer opens a dispute and makes it a claim today.
I AM REALLY ANGRY. It now says I have neg-120 bucks in my account. It has only been 4 friggen days since I sent the card. Now I can't buy anything until he gets some sense knocked into his skull.
Has this ever happened to you guys..........

Ouch, why did paypal give him his money? Sounds like he is trying to scam you. Did you use DC?

No I didn't which is why I think I am really screwed. It says the 130 bucks (already had 10 in the account) is on hold. If this goes through and I lose the money I will have to sell my John Elway Sweet Spot auto to make the money back and it kills me.

It just happened to me too a couple weeks ago. I lost $180. I didn't use DC, the guy claims I never sent, and even I kept the postal receipt and everything. But paypal doesn't care that I have proof I sent, they only want Tracking numbers. What difference does it make if I have tracking numbers??? If the F'n card got lost, how the $@#%^%& can you track it??
MORONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anayway, I'm not still bitter about being out a $250 card, and my $180, no, not at all!!
They guy did say he'd pay me half my $$ back, because I showed him proof that I sent his card. But he is now claiming his Credit card that is linked to paypal was stolen, and it's going to be awhile before I will see the money.
I'm not holding my breath.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but you are not seeing that money back my friend.

Insane Irish - Not to stick up for the guy, because he's obviously a creep, but there was just a mass mailing of fake Paypal emails rolling around notifying the users that their accounts were temporarily under hold because of fraudulent charges. Of course, they wanted you to log in and enter your current credit card info and the info of another card to verify your address as a backup. Maybe this guy didn't catch that it was a scam until too late, so it's quite possible that he had to call his credit card company and get his card shut down.

PAFAN-Thats very possible, the reason I somewhat doubt him is because I've caught him lying about 3 times already between emails, and what he originally told paypal. It's weird, he has such great feedback, so I believe he's not scamming me about not getting the card, but there is something a little sketchy about him though.

Sorry to hear that man, but those people purposely take advantage of people that dont send with DC. They know they essentially got the card for free if it was sent Non Dc, you just about always lose.
Thats why I sent anything that sells for $20 or more DC. Most of the time, any sale period using paypal is DC.

I learned my lesson a long time ago...send with DC...I got hit like that a few years back on a $60 Kobe Floor card...I was pissed too! paypal care more about the buyers than the sellers who are paying them!

Here is the truth of the matter. I have recently started using e/USPS mailing off paypal or the USPS site. It of course requires a debit or credit card. To advoid ever getting the neg 120 in my account I use a netspend card. I can drop 200 bucks on it, buy my cards and have 20 bucks on there to use for shipping and mabye a six pack. Great for those with low credit and if you pay 9.99 a year there are no fees. It acts as a debit card and a savings account. I earn interest on anything I leave sitting on the card, and I can have any company make deposits on it at any time. I cannot go into the negative either. e/USPS DC through paypal is completely impossible to dispute. If you pay with paypal, they cannot dispute that you paid. If you send with the e/USPS which costs EXACTLY what the post office charges it is fully tracked and he even gets an email notice. Reciepts are just too risky now. I refuse to play games with those fools anymore.
