Cool autograph story...

I know this isn't specifically a football card story, but I wanted to share.

I was going through some stuff today and found this:

Here's the story behind it. When I was in middle school, I was volunteering around Christmas-time at a gift wrapping booth in a local mall (I think it was for one of my classes, but I can't remember which one.) The mall was pretty busy, but we were pretty slow at the booth. As I was standing around, I was surprised to see Jim Kelly walking by heading for Footlocker. I'm pretty sure it was his first year in Buffalo. Being a young fan, I immediately ripped off a piece of wrapping paper, grabbed a pen and ran up to him and asked for his autograph. He was incredibly nice. Not only did he sign the paper, but he started asking me about being a Bills fan, who I liked on the team, etc. Others were coming up to him, so I thanked him and went back to the booth. Shortly after that, one of the Footlocker employees came out and escorted him to the store. I just thought it was really cool that he took the time out to sign an autograph for an annoying teenager.
