Ebay Best Offer Problems, just me?

Every time I send a best offer I recieve a counteroffer(this has happened to me atleast 6 times in the last 2 months).
Then I bump my offer up a buck or two, then they bump their counter offer up a buck or two.
    It is driving me nuts!
Is anyone else having this problem?

I love them. I see buy it now cards for like 30 bucks, and I make an offer of 9 or 10 and sometimes they'll accept it. It doesn't hurt to give a lower offer, ever.

Question: did you read his post?

I usually never accept/re offer once they have made a counter offer. I usually only use the best offer when I know EXACTLY what I want to pay, so if they counter I decline.

I have used the Best Offer feature 8 times...3 times the offer was accepted, 3 were counteroffers which I declined, one was outright declined by the seller and 1 never responded.

If the price is too high I won't even bother....I seriously think 95% of people who have an ebay store are on some sort of drugs...I have NO idea why they think they are going to get the prices they put on some of their stuff....but of course they are their cards and they can do as they see fit, but I just don't get putting them out there to sell and have to pay the fee it costs for them to sit there and collect dust (still). I am not talking high end products...I am talking cards that sell for no more than $5 or $6 consistantly in regular auctions.

    Peace~

So true! Theres a particular card that I am watching that is on its third round (that I know of) of ebay store dust collecting. I made a best offer but it was declined. :-/ It is priced entirely to high, but I guess its their $. :icon_roll

I got another offer declined last night, and its not like I am lowballing people, I offered one person $50 for a card they outbid me before on and they won for $45, but the lowest they will go is $80. :(
