you are correct, as I read the thread a little better, some are college, like the Cutler I mentioned and some are NFL stats. I guess they chose whichever one looked better, which goes even more in the face of Topps! I think Triple Threads was ugly and not very well thought out and it looks like an even more expensive product will be the same way. Topps Chrome was easily one of the best products they have put out. nice design, cheap pack price, lots of valuable hits.

definatly. didnt mean to sound rude to you if it came off that way. I just dont get how an 07 product contains rookies from 06 and why one earth the cards would be the quality that they are. I was reading a couple threads on beckett that were just horrible. a rice /5 jersey/auto with no picture of him on the front of it. a Vernon Davis auto/jersey that was upside down and contained about %5 of the I.

Can't wait for the "under new management" card to be pulled from this set or maybe an "april fools" I thinking it's not the latter of the two.

From the looks and sounds of things, I'm feeling better about not going after this. I was hesitant about getting something in April of 2007 that says 2006, especially with 2007 Sage Aspire releasing this week.

yeah it's not for everyone. But with this product it seemed like a desperate attempt to cash in on the great rookie class

Yeah, wonder what Eisner's group is going to do to revolutionize the industry...

On a side note, I preordered some Sage Aspire, but did it quite late, so I'm not sure I'm getting any of that either...

I agree 100%.You are paying nearly double for cards that in my opinion, do not look as nice by any means. But on the other hand you don't have any crap cards, its all nice stuff.

Then again, I wouldn't buy triple threads. For the price it isnt worth it.I would buy stuff like SP Authentic or Chrome.

Not for the 15 bazillion dollar price ticket. All I can see it Mike Hass and Dusty Dvoracek coming out of those for me
