Tim Duncan ejected...
...for laughing on the bench.
This is the most stupid ejection call I have ever seen in my 14 years of watching the NBA. Referee Joey Crawford needs to get over himself.
It'll be tough for the Spurs to beat the Mavs now without their top guy.

Joey Crawford needs to be fired. That was one of the worst calls I've ever seen followed up by another terrible call on the court. Duncan didn't say anything to Crawford and got tossed. He was laughing at the terrible officiating. If he officiates a Spurs game in the playoffs get ready to see a ton of one sided calls. Crawford has waxed that bald head of his way too many times...
After all that the Spurs led most of the game only to lose in the last minute. They were playing AT Dallas and without their best player. GO SPURS GO!

First off, I'm not a big Spurs fan and here's my opinion on it (I watched it):
I hate Joey Crawford. He has always been a terrible ref and needs to be put in a nursing home, or on the streets, w/e one everybody agrees on. Tim Duncan was laughing on the bench, got T'ed up, then was laughing at another bad call, and got ejected. Didn't even say a SINGLE WORD!!!! Spurs lost because of that. NBA REFS SUCK! Fine me now, Stern!

It was messed up. It definitely had an effect on the game too, because then the Mavs went on a nice scoring run, and then won the game. However, because the Spurs lost, the Suns clinched the #2 seed in the Western Conference! Yay!
Btw, speaking of technical fouls, did anyone see Amare's 15th technical yesterday? One more, and he gets a one game suspension. Hopefully, he can finish the year off without getting another technical foul.

Read this. I might be biased but I believe Duncan more than I believe Crawford.

If that's true, it could become problematic for the league. I think the NBA will look into it behind the scenes and see if they can come up with anything.

Tim Duncan is possibly the most calm, modest, relaxed guy in the NBA. I don't understand why someone gets ejected for laughing. Better than swearing at the guy and throwing punches! If Duncan gets tossed for laughing, then other players better pay closer attention to when they breathe, cause they might get called for that too if the refs find it offensive...jeez

I am wondering if there are fans out there who feel it was actually deserved. Could you construct an argument in Crawford's favor? I think even an attorney would find that hard... :)
