Whats consider a TRUE Rookie Card??
I was just wondering what is considered a true rookie card? I really dont collect football but I want to get my hands on a future NFL star (Adrian Peterson's) rookie card. I was surfing the Bay and I seen alot of his college stuff that people are calling his rookie card but that wouldnt be his rookie card because he hasnt went pro yet right?? Also what is the best brand of card for rookie footballers?

From what I understand usually the major brands i.e. Topps, Donruss, Playoff, Upper Deck etc. are the brands you want to go with for true RC's ... and you just want to make sure that the card your getting is in the master base set and not one of the Subsets or Parallel sets. It's a bit confusing to me as well!

In my opinion a true RC is the Base RC in a set. Not a parallel. Contenders autos would count, Topps Gold RC's would not. This is all terminology made up by guys that need a girlfriend.
Quote from a recent commercial,
"dungeon masters don't have levels. Don't you know that?"
