I separate most of my cards by brand, years and numbers in penny sleeves in 32 quart plastic containers except for #ed and autographed and high BV cards. Those are put in penny sleeves and then in top loaders. My TTM and IP autographs are put in 9 pocket plastic sheets in binders.

Well...all my base go in pages and in binders, all my GU and Autos go in sleeves and toploaders, all my good inserts, RC, and #ed go in a box with sleeves.

All my duplicate commons go into simple 400-800 count boxes by brand, year and number. All my sets go into a binder & pages until assembled, then go into a 400-800 count box depending on the size of the set. Then I use tissue paper to buffer them and keep them centered in the box. I then seal the box with packing tape, mark it by set and put it in my closet. The packing tape keeps it air tight and the cards stay nicely sealed. It is too expensive putting 500 cards in penny sleeves in my opinion.
My GU, autos, numbered and high bv rookies (nonset) go into penny sleeves with toploader. If I really like the GU or Auto I might use a screwdown. That is "how I roll".

I like to put all rcs, gud, and autos that are above $25 bv in a team bag. That way no debris/crumbs, dirt can get in. All rcs that book for $5 or more go in a new penny sleeve then a hard sleeve and cheap rcs go in a penny and a "used" hard sleeve in a bargain box...
