It's all speculation right now, but from what I hear on Sirius NFL network radio this morning is ..... The Chiefs realize that LJ is at his highest value right now and has 750 carries over the last 2-3 years, shop him around while you can get maximum value. But the guys also say that it is crazy to even think of letting LJ go, the Chiefs need to draft a RB in the later rounds i.e. Lorenzo Booker or Darius Walker to come in and take a little load off of LJ.
My take ..... LJ stays put in KC and Herm and the FO draft some help for him in the later rounds!

I think the Chiefs have more to worry about than trading LJ. They have serious QB issues, who is it going to be ... Huard? Croyle? .. {laughing histarically} Omar Jacobs?
The next issue is who in the heck is the QB going to throw the ball too? They need to look at drafting some serious WR help in the first round and maybe even the second round IMO.
Then you have the Oline issue, over the past two years the Chiefs have lost what could arguably be one of the best lines in the game first with Roaf and now Shields.
I think Chiefs fans are going to be in for a looooooooong season this year, possibly even being surpassed by the Oakland Faiders. I guess you could almost call it a ... "rebuild"?

Yeah I agree they will be in for a long season but passed by the raiders? I just don't know about that. The need a decent O lineman and a good WR is there main issues. I would like to see LJ stay also but if they can get good and draft a RB then maybe they should. But I think he will probably stay.

I actually do think the Raiders will improve dramatically this year. Their D was ranked #3 last year it was their offense that held them down. So if Al Davis can pull his head out long enough to put some thought into a draft and load up the Offense their offense could be pretty decent. Add that to the #3 ranked D and you have a solid team ...
Unfortunatly they are in the AFC West and we all know that Cutler and the boyz in Denver are going to roll this year so it's all a moot point! Hahaha!

I heard this morning on our local sports radio station that the Chiefs have been in contact w/the Packers regarding a trade. No players or draft picks were mentioned, only that there was talk between the 2 teams.
If that were to happen, I would be super hyped. LJ in the Green and Gold would be a great thing to see.

It's been ALL OVER the radio today...including on ESPN. Supposedly the first team to contact the Chiefs was the Browns offering a 2nd and 5th rounder. The 2nd is very hight at #35 so another team will have to offer a 1st if KC is really intent on trading him.
