Asking For An Opinion

I Want To Start Collecting A Player (and Not Trade Them). I Want Someone That Is At Least A Semi Star But Not One That Is So High Priced It Is Pretty Much Uselss To Collect. I Also Want A Player That Has Been In The League Between 5-8 Years ( Too Many Paralles The Last Couple Years For Rookies) And I Would Like To Try To Find A Player That Not Everyone And Their Cat Collects.

Any Ideas?

Try Someone Like Jagr Or Maybe Even Koivu Or Sundin. Their Cards Arent Too Pricey And Theyre Stars And Captains. Semi Stars Such As Morrow, Hejduk, Or Alfreddson Are Easy To Pick Up. I Collect Gilmour And Clark, Maybe Youd Like Someone Like Sedin, Or Kozlov. Good Luck!

These players seem to be forgotten by card collectors, what else would explain a Messier (2nd leading scorer ever) card being worth less than somebody like Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Spezza, some goon etc. who frankly..... haven't done squat.

i would say exactly the same thing than Rookmyster....Martin St-louis and brad richards are not semi stars in my opinion , they are stars in this league ! marian hossa is also a good choice ! you could also use Patrick Marleau or Marc Savard....you have a lot of choices =) good luck !
