Newbie here checking in
Hello all!
My name is Chris. I am a 38 year old male that got bit with the baseball card collecting bug.
I used to collect cards when I was 9 years old. My friends and I would trade cards for fun. Everything has changed since then(or I wasn't paying much attention back then).
I was browsing in Wal-Mart and noticed a "promotion" they were having, 9 packs plus a bonus pack of Topp's. I got quite a few of non-base cards. I also purchased a Beckett's magazine. Man, I felt like a kid, opening those packs all at one time, looking for the premium cards (or my favorites), then slowly looking through each card. I did this before I left the parking lot.
There is so much to learn. But the main thing is that I am going to have fun.

welcome! collecting these days has gotten pretty crazy, but there are still affordable products out there.
