    How do you send international?

Well it's not how do you send international in the easy way...

How do you send international so you know that the package arrives at it's destination. I assume Delivery Confirmation won't work. I just sold a card on eBay and have to send it to Taiwan. I was wondering what I should do to get proof of sending and receiving just in case I get screwed by PayPal. Would signature delivery work in Taiwan? Is there anything I don't know about that would work? Thanks!

I would just ask the clerk at the post office. They'd be able to tell you

In my last job I sent a lot to China. I would say either USPS Global Express, or UPS-Fed/Ex. I have received cards from Taiwan though and they came regular Air Mail. Lot cheaper than Global Express. (I only paid $3.00 S&H which is pretty much what you pay on ebay anyway.)

I just sent to Canada Air Mail USPS, and didn't even need to fill out any forms.

I would put the card(s) in a bubble mailer and then in one of those small boxes you can find at the post office with a tracking number and insurance.

prob. be a little more expensive but thats a safe way to do it.

    Global Priority
    regisitered mail
    UPS International
    FED Ex

These are the only ways I send to out of US buyers. If the card is >$20 I wouldn't worry about it though.

Anytime I have to send out of country... I will always send it via Global Priority... If a buyer asks for express, I will also do that, but to some countries, it can cost upwards of $30....

Global priority usually is pretty stable and cheap, although I don't know how much the new price structure will increase costs... This past year I've sent to the following places for the following amounts:

    Canada: 6.25
    Sweden: 7.00
    UK/France: 7.50
    Mexico: 6.00
    Puerto Rice: 4.75
    Japan: 9.50
    China (Mainland): 9.50
    Hong Kong: 9.50
    Taiwan: 10.00
    Saudi Arabia: $11.25
    Israel: 5.00
    Costa Rica: $6.25
