    1972 Topps Football?

Hello all, I am now starting to collect football cards strongly so I decided to talk to others here. I am thinking about trying to get the full set of 1972 topps by just buying one every now and then and focusing on boxes and packs of 07 cards. I am gonna try to get all the 07 press pass then move on to 07 playoff prestige or other cards. Is this a wise collecting decision? Please let me know or offer your suggestions. I will list my cards in press pass and 72 topps.

    72 Topps Football
    55- Archie Manning
    93- Ted Hendricks
    100- Joe Namath
    210- Fred Biletnikoff

Note: I spent about $25 On those 4 cards today at a local flea market, I plan on going to my local cardstore soon to see what they have in this set.

    07 Press Pass Football
    33- Kevin Kolb
    50- Patrick Willis
    58- Dwayne Wright
73- Aaron Ross - Trophy Club
80- Robert Meachem - All Americans
87- Aaron Ross - All Americans
99- Reggie Bush - Sophomore Sensations
102- Jamarcus Russel - Power Pick

Note: I have only purchased 2 07 Press Pass packs currently, I am planning on saving up for a box.

If you could list them when you have free time and give me a price I will consider it. Most likely we would have to do it through ebay if that is okay, I think it is just safer that way, not saying that you would scam me.

i had 111 different "commons" none of the big names like staubach, bradshaw, sayers, simpson, etc... i have some of those players, but would start with these. i would sell them all for 45.00 delivered. i will be sending pictures in a few minutes. i am also signing off for the evening soon afterwards so let me know either tonight or tomorrow.
    thanks (tom hess)

I would pass on the 07 Press Pass and just go right to Playoff Prestige. They hold value a bit longer than Press Pass. Once the newer stuff starts coming out, Press Pass is almost worthless. They`re hot now because they`re the first to come out, but don`t hold value as good as Prestige does in the long run. Plus you get all sorts of parallels with Prestige. Not much in Press Pass. Just my opinion, through previous experiences over the years.
