Card Shows in NJ
Im going to local card show this coming Sunday a few towns over from me, just wanted to gert opinions of some folks here
Is it worth bringing some of your cards in a bag/backpack , in case of trade offers, or generally are these guys ™™™ clowns that think they know more about bv and football cards than u do??, or do they wanna just sell?
I havent been to a card show in years, and that was when i was 14-15 yrs old just buying some packs,
Any tips?

Most are looking to sell...but you will find a few that will trade and most of those will try to do it in their favor...

As a former dealer at shows ... I will say that selling is priority number 1. We have a table fee to pay for so unless trading is done in my favor I generally wouldn't trade unless I saw something that I wanted for my PC. I generally only trade for stuff in my PC anyway, which I do on here so I dont hav to think the economics of it all when I was doing a show.
I was generally a fair dealer, not like some of the a**holes that I have seen at shows. Some people just over value there cards so much it makes me laugh. In my opinion asking for like 6 bucks on a jersey that books 8 is insane. Alot of dealers (especially in NJ) are still living in the 80s and early 90s when the card market was booming. Now it sucks. I did many shows in NJ, and NYC area. What show are you going too?
