Credit to the Jazz they managed to stay close. Big game from Deron.

If Okur had played better, they could have won. When Okur sucks, the Jazz lose. It was the same in the Houston series. Jazz need Deron, Boozer, and Okur to put up comparable numbers to Duncan, Parker, and Ginobili.

Jazz looked rusty and sloppy in the first half. Deron was the only player who seemed ready and lit up the scoreboard with 34 points. He won't cross 30 again in this series. Spurs played great on short rest. Coming off an emotional series win against Phoenix this win was impressive. Hold serve at home on Tuesday and we're in great shape!

Yeah but the Spurs are one of the best franchises ever, I bet the NBA thought that the Spurs didnt need extra rest, that they could just battle through it. Only inferior teams liek the Cavs need rest.

Detroit won a tough defensive battle tonight (I know people will be annoyed that neither team scored 80). They stopped LeBron from scoring, which was the key.

Yeah, Detroit's defense kept Lebron in check.
Lebron looked merely average against them.

Pistons did what they needed to do. They didnt look very good but still got the win. People shouldnt be annoyed, that was good basketball.

Spurs are up 3-1.
Utah has a lot of low class fans. They started throwing debris on the court when the game ended. I couldn't tell if they were directed towards the Spurs players. Utah outshot San Antonio from the field but Spurs had a ton more free throws. Utah played very physical, very aggressive basketball. I believe they had the most fouls of any team in the regular season and it showed in this game. Players and crowd can complain all they want but you don't play good D by fouling all the time.
