This may have been said and not to hate on anyones team, but I am glad the Celtics or Grizzlies did not get #1. It was obvious they were tanking and when Danny Ainge "Happened to" be sitting next to Durant's mother, that was pretty obvious as well. There are enough quality players in this draft that all the lottery teams can get some help.

    Thats just my opinion.....

I'm happy - get plenty of chances to get some Durant auto's living up here in Seattle. Well , at least for a year - until the team moves.

Any kind of comment that this year's draft was rigged is absolutely ridiculous. Why would the NBA want medium-sized market teams like Portland and Seattle to succeed over teams like Boston and New York? They would get far more revenue from larger-sized market teams doing well, but obviously it didn't go their way this year. Boston fans need to quit whining and realize they were just unlucky this time.

Kevin Durant alone may generate enough $$$ and fan interest to keep the team in Seattle. I guess we'll see. But, Rashard Lewis will probably not be resigned.

I do think Lewis will be on a different team this summer with Durant most likely coming. And why would the NBA wanted medium-sized market teams like Portland/Seattle and succeed over teams like New York and Boston, as BMetts said? New York and Boston are 2 of the NBA's most legendary teams in the NBA. And yes, the Celts fans just need to shut up and quit whining b/c they just got unlucky.

    Renegade -
They are talking possible sign and trade for Lewis since Seattle can sign him for more than any other team. That way he gets best contract, Seattle gets something for him, and he gets to go somewhere he wants.

Whooooa there killer, who are you telling to "shut up". Thats a little disrespectful man, no need for that.

Last I checked, this was my thread, if I wanna whine, I'll whine.

I can't help it if we are one of the unluckiest franchises ever when it comes to draft picks/lottery. I was really looking forward to a potential great star wearing green this year, and now we're stuck with another 5 year project, instead of a possible franchise changing player..So yes I will complain.

    Ainge is a curse!!
